I thought I'd give the anime style of drawing a try. This is Eren from Attack on Titan. It's one of my favorite anime to air recently. I haven't really gotten into this style since my high school years so I need some practice.
Purple and Red need a world of their own. Here's a map their hometown. I call it Half Town, named after the town I was raised in. For the first six years of my life, I lived in Tunga, Leyte PH with my Lola Lilia. Tunga translates into “half.”
I created this for a yoga event. From my understanding it involved a club, music videos, and yoga. I'm not sure if the event ever happened. I still like how this came out though, so I thought I'd share it.
Look at the purple guy in action! He's on a mission to get from point A, to point B. These are renderings of different parts of his walk cycle. It rotates through the walk cycle to make him appear as if he's walking. It's like 2D posing as 3D.
I feel you in my bones. You're knocking at my window. You're slow to letting me go. I know this feeling oh so, this feeling in my bones. The purple guy has bones! This setup has the option to use some inverse kinematics on the arms and legs.
He's got clothes! The only additional object here is his top. His pants are technically part of his body. It's just painted on. Can you tell that he's got a bit of influence from Auron?
This one goes out to all the squirrels I've /loved before. This resto druid is Pagong of Champion's Legion. She's not currently active, but when she's actually hanging out in Azeroth she can be found hoarding achievement points or capping flags.
I've been wary about posting fanart into my blog. It's such a touchy subject for artists. However, as a self proclaimed otaku and mega gamer, how could I not create and be proud of them? Here's a painting I did of Superman.
Guess who this guy is destined to be? Hint, it's got purple hair. Here's the beginning of a cartoony body mesh. It's got a head, body, and limbs. It's simple and low poly.
