Book Binding: Convention Badge

I learned book binding! I had some plastic convention badges from Pax East and Fan Expo. They're the perfect size for a small art book. The method I used is called a "coptic stitch." I think it looks nice with the exposed stitches. I just wish I used a red string to bind the color scheme all together (pun intended). The paper I used was from this old, all-purpose art book that I never finished. It seems to hold up to fountain pens just fine.

Game Boy-Inspired Nintendo Switch Cartridge Case

I made a Game Boy-inspired case to hold Nintendo Switch games! Here's how it turned out: The Process All layers. 3 layers. Transferred to the wood material. Jeweler's saw to cut out the shapes. Glue the layers together. Paint! Not pictured… The buttons are cut from a popsicle stick. I ended up cutting the back piece and grinding out a cavity with a Dremel to attach magnets. I then glued a couple pieces of metal to the middle layer. This fully encases the cartridge. I'm also thinking of sealing the acrylic paint. I don't want it to look glossy though.
