A series of tiny drawings in a tiny sketchbook. This was the toughest challenge. I tried to draw every day until I filled up the entire book. I made a ring. I made it out of some blocks used for filling up space in the packaging for our bed. To the make the hole, I drilled into the center of the block. I dremeled (is that a word?) it until it was the size I wanted. I then sanded the sides down further into the ring shape. To draw the pixel heart design, I used a Culiau engraving pen. I torched the ring to give it some texture. To even out the burnt and raw wood, I stained it. Finally, I sealed it with quick drying polyurethane.
