I made a ring. I made it out of some blocks used for filling up space in the packaging for our bed.
- To the make the hole, I drilled into the center of the block. I dremeled (is that a word?) it until it was the size I wanted.
- I then sanded the sides down further into the ring shape.
- To draw the pixel heart design, I used a Culiau engraving pen.
- I torched the ring to give it some texture.
- To even out the burnt and raw wood, I stained it.
- Finally, I sealed it with quick drying polyurethane.
